Lilly Conference on College Teaching

The International Lilly Conference on College Teaching for 2008 (28th year of presenting and celebrating the scholarship of teaching and learning) will be held in Oxford, Ohio on November 20-23, 2008. The Conference theme this year is "Millennial Learning: Teaching in the 21st Century." View the Conference web site for a listing of sessions by presenters who have confirmed their topics.

Please visit the Conference web site (http://www.muohio.edu/lillycon/) to register for the Conference (register by October 1 and get the $45 early registration discount). This year registration, lodging, and meal prices have not increased for attendees from outside Miami University.

TLC invites participation in 2008 Kentucky Conference on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.


In May 2008 the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) will sponsor faculty and professional staff participation at the CPE's Kentucky Conference on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning: Challenging Students to Think Critically and Learn Deeply. The conference will be held at the Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington.

If you wish to attend with TLC support, please contact us at erin.mccord@eku.edu. Erin will register EKU participants as a group. Presenters will also need to contact Erin McCord for registration. The TLC will cover the registration fee; transportation is each participant's responsibility. Deadline for notification of desire to attend is March 7, 2008.

If you wish to present at the conference, the deadline for proposals is February 5, 2008.
