As the title suggests, yes, it’s getting better. We’ve just finished our
second month in Slovakia, and without a doubt the second month was easier
than the first.... |

Two
items are particularly striking to me after my 3½ months in Slovakia. The

reminds me of the United States in the 1950s and early 1960s. The second
has to do with Catholicism, Communism and academia...> |

After 7-1/2 months we are finally looking
to the end of our time in the Slovak Republic. We are now only one month
until our departure from Slovakia, then another two weeks of travel before
we fly back to the USA on 22 June. We will come back with mixed emotion,
and we will certainly miss Slovakia when we leave.... |
